99% DNA-identical to wild ginseng

Comparative analysis between wild mountain ginseng and our cultured root — reviewed through NCBI 1st and 2nd stage analysis — found the two to be 99% DNA-identical. In other words, the cultured root is genetically almost indistinguishable from the wild plant it originates from.

Ginsenosides — the compounds most associated with ginseng — were confirmed by HPLC analysis.
